Managing Multiple Accounts

A single Torneos MVP user can belong to several accounts. Each account is an independent workspace, with its own tournaments, players, and rankings. This is useful for:

  • An organizer who collaborates with several clubs, each with its own account
  • A staff member who works across different organizations
  • A federation administrator who operates both the federation's account and those of some affiliated organizations

Switching between accounts

The selector is only available to logged-in users.

  1. Log in to Torneos MVP.
  2. Click the selector in the top navigation (usually shown as your current account name or avatar).
  3. A dropdown lists all accounts your user has access to.
  4. Click the account you want to work in.

The dashboard switches to that account's context — all tournaments, rankings, and settings shown will be from that account.

Accounts and communities

Each account can optionally have its own community (a premium branded portal). When you switch accounts you also move to the corresponding community portal, if that account has one. A community is not a separate account: it is a layer on top of the account.

Creating a community for your account

If your account is premium and you want to give it a branded portal of its own:

  1. Click your avatar or name.
  2. Go to Profile → Create Community.
  3. Follow the Create Community steps.

Tips for working with multiple accounts

  • Confirm which account you are working in by checking the name in the selector before creating or editing data.
  • Assign a dedicated admin role in each account rather than relying on a single owner account for all operations.
  • Accounts are completely isolated by default — players, tournaments, and rankings do not cross account boundaries unless explicitly configured with Partner Organizations.
