Displays and Streaming Overview
Torneos MVP includes a built-in system for displaying live tournament information on TV screens and broadcasting overlays. Whether you need a scoreboard on a wall screen at the venue or a professional stream overlay for YouTube or Twitch, the display system provides ready-to-use browser source URLs that update automatically.
Display types
| Display | Best for | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Field Scoreboard | In-venue TV screens | Shows the current match score and player names for a specific court |
| Streaming Scoreboard | OBS overlays | Optimized transparent overlay for broadcasting, with score and player names |
| Next Matches | Lobby and waiting area screens | Shows the queue of upcoming matches for a specific court |
| Match Display | Single-match focus | Full-screen display for a specific match, ideal for broadcast close-ups |
| Tournament Display | Venue-wide screens | Full tournament overview showing multiple courts or category standings |
How displays work
All display pages are browser-based URLs. You can:
- Open them directly on a TV connected to a computer (full-screen browser mode)
- Add them as browser sources in OBS for streaming overlays
- Share them with any device that has a browser
The displays connect to the live tournament data and update automatically. You do not need to reload or refresh — scores and results appear in real time as they are entered by referees.
Typical venue setup
Small club tournament (1-3 courts):
- One TV per court showing the Field Scoreboard
- One optional lobby screen showing Next Matches
Multi-court broadcast event:
- OBS on a streaming computer with Streaming Scoreboard browser source
- Separate sponsor rotation scene in OBS
- Lobby screens with Next Matches queue
Configuring displays
Displays are configured per court within each tournament:
- Open your tournament.
- Go to Displays in the side navigation.
- Configure the layout and content for each display.
- Assign displays to courts from the live control panel.
See OBS Setup for streaming-specific configuration.
No design skills required
All displays are pre-designed and branded automatically with your community's visual identity. There is no graphic design work needed — open the URL, add it to OBS, and it works.
