Assigning Matches to Courts
Assigning a match to a court tells players and referees where to go, updates the court's scoreboard display, and marks the match as in progress when it begins.
Assigning a match from the queue
- Open the Live Control panel.
- Find the match in the queue (upcoming matches list).
- Click Assign to court or drag the match to a free court.
- Select the target court from the list.
- Confirm.
The court status changes from Free to Playing (or Paused if the match has not started yet).
Adding a match directly to a specific court
- On a Free court card, click the + button or Add match.
- Search for the match by player name or category.
- Select and confirm.
Assigning a referee
Referees should be assigned before a match starts:
- Find the match in the live panel (either in the queue or on a court).
- Click Assign referee or the referee icon.
- Select from the list of available referees.
- Confirm.
If you call a match to a court without a referee assigned, the panel will show a "No referee" alert for that court.
Assigning a display to a court
A display is the TV scoreboard associated with a court:
- On the court card, click Assign display or the display icon.
- Select the configured display for this court.
- Confirm.
The display URL for that court will start showing the current match automatically.
If no display is assigned when a match starts, the live panel shows a "No display" alert.
Calling a match
"Calling" a match means notifying players that their match is next:
- From the queue, click Call match next to the upcoming match.
- Players see the notification on the public bracket or display screens.
Tip: Use the match queue to prepare the next match before the current one finishes, so there is minimal downtime between matches on each court.
