Managing Clubs
Clubs represent the team affiliations within your community. Players, coaches, and referees can be associated with a club, and club membership is displayed in rankings and player directories.
Creating a club
- Go to Dashboard → Clubs (Clubes).
- Click Create club or the + button.
- Fill in:
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | The club's full display name (e.g., "Club Deportivo San Martín") |
| Code | Yes | A short identifier shown in rankings and lists (e.g., "CDSM") |
| Description | Optional | A brief description of the club |
| Sport | Optional | The primary sport for this club |
| Logo | Optional | The club's crest or logo image |
- Click Save.
Assigning players to a club
Club assignment is done from the player's profile:
- Go to Dashboard → People.
- Open the player's profile.
- Find the Club field.
- Select the club.
- Save.
A player can be associated with multiple clubs if needed.
How clubs appear in the platform
- In rankings: Players' club codes appear next to their names in the standings.
- In player directories: Club affiliation is visible on each person's profile.
- In ranking filters: Viewers can filter the ranking by club to see only players from a specific team.
- In match results: Club affiliation may appear on scoreboard displays.
Editing or deleting a club
- Go to Dashboard → Clubs.
- Click on the club name or the edit icon.
- Update the information and save.
To delete a club, click Delete and confirm. Players associated with the club will have their club field cleared.
Note: Clubs are scoped to your community. If your federation has affiliated clubs that are also separate communities on the platform, the club entries in each community are independent.
