Managing Players
Players are the core participants in your tournaments. This page covers how to add, edit, and manage player profiles in your community.
Adding a player
- Go to Dashboard → People (Personas).
- Click Add person or the + button.
- Select Player as the person type.
- Fill in the player's information:

| DNI / ID number | Recommended | National ID or document number — used to uniquely identify the player and prevent duplicates |
| Birthday | Yes | Used to determine age category eligibility |

| Modality | Yes | Singles, Doubles, or Teams |
| Optional | Contact email | |
| Phone | Optional | Contact phone number |
| Club | Optional | Club affiliation |
| Coach | Optional | Assigned coach |
| Height | Optional | Physical attribute |
| Weight | Optional | Physical attribute |
| Dominant hand | Optional | Right or left |
| Profile photo | Optional | Displayed on their public profile |
- Click Save.
Editing a player
- Go to Dashboard → People.
- Find the player using the search bar or filters.
- Click on their name or the edit action.
- Update the necessary fields.
- Save.
Filtering and searching players
The People directory supports filtering by:
- Modality — Singles, Doubles, Teams
- Gender
- Club
- Validation status — whether they have required certifications
- Active / Inactive
Use the search bar to find players by name.
Deactivating a player
If a player is no longer active in your community:
- Open their profile.
- Set their status to Inactive.
Inactive players do not appear in registration searches and are hidden from active directories, but their historical results and ranking data are preserved.
Bulk operations
From the People list, you can perform bulk operations such as:
- Assign a validation badge to multiple players
- Export the player list
Player's public profile
If the community is public, each player has a public profile page showing:
- Their name and photo
- Club affiliation
- Tournament history
- Ranking positions
