Scheduling Matches

The Calendar (Programación) tool lets you assign your tournament matches to specific time slots, creating a structured daily or weekly schedule. This is especially useful for multi-day tournaments or events with many categories running in parallel.

Opening the calendar

  1. Open your tournament.
  2. In the side navigation, click Calendar (Programación).

Configuring the schedule

Use the Configure Calendar dialog to set:

SettingDescription
Event date(s)The day or days the tournament takes place
Start timeWhen the first matches begin each day
Match durationEstimated time per match — used to auto-generate time slots
Break time between matchesBuffer time added between consecutive slots on the same court
Group distributionHow many matches from each group or category are placed per time slot

After configuring, the system generates a schedule that distributes matches across the available time slots and courts.

Adjusting the schedule

Once generated, you can fine-tune the schedule:

  • Move a match — drag a match to a different time slot or court
  • Reassign a court — move a match from one court to another within the same time slot
  • Add time slots — insert additional slots if the day is longer than planned
  • Remove time slots — delete empty slots at the end of the day

Multi-day tournaments

For tournaments that span multiple days:

  1. Add each day as a separate event date in the calendar configuration.
  2. Set the start time and match duration for each day independently.
  3. Distribute categories across days — for example, group stages on Day 1, knockout rounds on Day 2.

Publishing the schedule

Once the schedule is ready, it becomes visible on the public tournament page. Players can see:

  • When their match is scheduled
  • On which court
  • Against which opponent

The public schedule updates automatically if you make changes after publishing.

Relationship with live control

The calendar feeds into the Live Control panel:

  • Operators can see which matches are scheduled next for each court
  • Scheduled matches appear in the match queue in chronological order
  • Operators can call scheduled matches to courts in the planned order — or override the order as needed

Tip: You do not need to complete the full calendar before starting the tournament. You can schedule the first round and continue updating the schedule as the tournament progresses. Many organizers prefer to schedule round by round for flexibility.
